The trichological consultation begins with a detailed trichological interview. During this stage, the trichologist collects information about the patient's health, care habits, possible diseases, and factors affecting the condition of the scalp and hair.

It is recommended that the patient sends their latest complete blood count with smear to the email address spa@marinaclubhotel.pl a few days before the consultation. Although their absence is not an obstacle, these results help in analyzing possible deficiencies and selecting appropriate supplementation. After the interview, we proceed to examine the scalp using a trichoscope. This device allows us to closely inspect the scalp and hair follicles under magnification, enabling the diagnosis of various types of hair loss, such as telogen effluvium or androgenetic alopecia. The camera equipped with UV light also allows the detection of bacteria inhabiting the skin, which is important in cases of issues such as dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. Based on the blood count results, trichological interview, and scalp analysis, the trichologist determines the cause of the problem (e.g., hair loss or inflammatory skin conditions) and selects an appropriate treatment plan and professional care. Together with the patient, a further course of action is agreed upon, including follow-up visits at reduced prices. To ensure the consultation is as accurate as possible, the patient should avoid washing their hair for 24 hours before the appointment – this will allow assessment of the scalp in "natural conditions." Additionally, it is advisable to prepare a list of medications taken and the names of scalp care products such as shampoos, lotions, or other preparations the patient uses, as this will allow a more precise evaluation of the care used and its impact on the condition of the scalp and hair.
